This isn’t my President

I was working on another post, a non-Donald Trump post I might add, when I got an alert that “our” President had a new tweet. As my OCD brain is wont to do I dropped what I was doing to read whatever pearl of wisdom “our” President wanted to share with his adoring fans. Here it is;

“I heard poorly rated @Morning_Joe speaks badly of me (don’t watch anymore). Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came to Mar-a-Lago 3 nights in a row around New Year’s Eve, and insisted on joining me. She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!” – Donald Trump tweet 6-29-17

When I read this my brain just locked down. Wow! Wow! I had to remind myself of two things, one, this is the FREAKING President of the United States and two, this is a 72-year-old man.

Let’s deal with number one first. The President is the person who holds the office of head of state of the United States government. He or she is the top dog, the big cheese, the head honcho, the big enchilada. They are the face of this country, the voice of this country, the tweets of this country. He is the image of America the rest of the world sees. He is the number one American citizen. He represents you and I.

This knuckle head has said and tweeted a lot of crazy shit but bleeding badly from a face-lift” holy crap, holy crap. What is this man, the FREAKING President of the United States thinking? Isn’t there more important shit out there that should be occupying what apparently is a limited amount of space in his feeble, vindictive mind?

Number two, he is a 72-year-old man. This guy is a husband (3 times), a father, and a grandfather. In 72 freaking years has he not learned anything about civility or class? Holy shit people my mother is just two years older than this guy. I can’t imagine her belittling or berating someone like this clown does, bleeding badly from a face-lift” come on, come on! Why would my mother know better? Because in 74 years of living she has grown-up, she has learned how you treat people, “do unto others”. She knows the difference between acting like a six-year-old and a 74-year-old.

How in the world can we expect the rest of the world to take us seriously with this POS tweeting crap like this. These aren’t words that will just stay in our backyard. These aren’t words that only his Basket of Deplorables will read. These are words that the rest of the world will see, words the rest of the world will react too, words that they won’t understand because there is no context to them or there vindictiveness. They will just be viewed as ugly and hateful, ugly and hateful words from the ugly and hateful American.

This isn’t my President. The people who continue to support him, as far as I am concerned, don’t deserve to call themselves Americans. There is nothing cute, smart or funny about what this man says or does or how he treats people. He doesn’t give a shit about anything or anyone except Donald J. Trump. Mr. and Mrs. Deplorable, he sure as hell doesn’t give a shit about either of you.

“Mr. President, your tweet was beneath the office and represents what is wrong with American politics, not the greatness of America.” – Senator Lindsey Graham tweet 6-29-17

  1. Please don’t have a coronary over this POS. As you stated so eloquently, he has the mind of a six year old. Never had to grow up and face the challenges of maturity because daddy funded him from day one. Even so, many people of wealth grow up into responsible, compassionate adults. How did tRump miss out on this rite of maturing? Sociopathic? definitely. Psychopathic? Hmmmm. Or maybe just the biggest asshole of the world? Relax, my friend. He has coursed his own demise. Meanwhile…..OM, OM, OM,

    • Mike Pence considers himself a pious, christian man. How in the hell does he reconcile the actions and the words of “his boss”? Asking for “Gods” forgiveness and guidance for “his boss” every single night must be the highlight of Gods Day/Night.

    You’re right . Those of us in the rest of the world are watching and seeing . It’s not pretty. It is true to say he “represents” the US but we also know that there are millions of Americans like you that he does not “represent”, in the sense that you are not like him and feel shamed by his words and antics. These are dark and dangerous times !
