The kiss of Mooch

Anthony Scaramucci

“A great day at the White House!” – Donald Trump tweet 7-31-17

Well the new White House communications director Anthony “The Mooch” Scaramucci delivered his last kiss Friday after only eleven days on the job and oh what a kiss he sent. His hire forced the resignation of press secretary Sean Spicer and chief of staff Reince Priebus. You Trumpets seem to like numbers how about these digits, 1 + -2 + -1 = 11 days.

Let’s be honest Donald Trump has zip, zero in-common with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Deplorable from Ames, Iowa but they still elected him. They overlooked the expensive suits, fake tan, the dead animal on top of his head, the greed, the ego, the wives, the etc. and bought the bullshit and the bluster. And they are still buying it.

And if Mr. and Mrs. Deplorable have nothing in-common with “The Donald” what could they possibly have in-common with “The Mooch”? Less than zip. Anyone, ANYONE, with three working brain cells could tell the minute “The Mooch” stood behind the podium eleven days ago that hiring him was a bad idea. He epitomized the definition of a New York City big shot sleazeball with the added bonus of the departing kiss. Honestly after watching his press conference I needed a shower. “The Mooch” dressed like Michael Corleone from The Godfather and acted like Jordan Belfort from The Wolf of Wall Street. Not the kind of guy the deplorables would invite over for a cookout of hotdogs and a cold PBR.

I can promise you if “The Mooch” had walked down the aisle in his Sunday finest at the Friendship Baptist Church or the Collegiate United Methodist Church in Ames he would have turned more than a few deplorable heads. But “our” President thought it was a not just a good idea, but a great idea to make this man his communications director. Why? There is no why, there is no rhyme or reason for any decision he makes. Trump is flying but the seat of our pants because he doesn’t have a plan to MAGA, all he has is a slogan and a red baseball cap and sadly for Mr. and Mrs. Joe Deplorable that continues to be enough.

So despite “our” Presidents reassurance that it is “A great day at the White House!” Despite his claims that he is the sole reason the “Stock Market could hit all-time high (again) 22,000 today.” or that Corporations have NEVER made as much money as they are making now” more shit is getting ready to hit the fan. And despite his and the deplorables claims that all of Trumps issues and problems are make believe “fake news” created by the liberals, the mainstream media, and Obama this country rocks along like a train without an engineer, “I don’t know where we are going but we are making great time”.

At some point we need to know where we are going. We need a leader with a plan, not a marketing slogan. We need stability, not turnover every sixty days. Trump has yet to fill roughly 85% of the key executive branch positions he needs to but he has lost eleven of them in a matter of seven months. It is not the Democrats fault, they aren’t holding anyone up, they can’t, remember that, THEY CAN’T. The problem Trump has is no one in their right mind, no one with experience, no one with an ounce of integrity, no one who knows what the hell they are doing, other than morons like “The Mooch” want to work for him. No it is not “A great day at the White House!” not even close.

  1. Point well stated. Beyond my comprehension is the fact that tRump has not fulfilled any of his promises other than a justice to SCOTUS to his basketful of deplorables, he has alienated just about every segment of America and I still see pickups with tRump banners, roadside stands selling tRump flags, caps, and shirts. My friend, the finger still needs to point back at a very stupid, uninformed electorate and a Congress afraid to piss off that electorate.

I have a daily call-in to my state senators and reps..their aides now know my voice and say hello before I can identify myself. I do sometimes feel like that lone voice in the universe but it is something I have to do. Keep doing the same, please. our country needs our voices.

This post expresses some ideas I have been wondering about. I still do not get why the average person struggling to get by thinks they have anything in common with tRump. When interviewed they claim that tRump will take care of them. Why do they think he cares anything at all about them? He has proven he is only for the most wealthy, he admires the most wealthy and wants to be surrounded by only the wealthy. His ego alone wouldn’t let him have anything to do with or care for the “little people” as Hemsley called the average worker. Hugs
