So what do we get when Vice President Pence becomes President Pence in a few months?

  1. Middle-age white guy.
  2. Ultra-Conservative Republican.
  3. Ultra-Conservative Christian.
  4. Former lawyer.
  5. Former Congressman.
  6. Former Governor.
  7. All the baggage, characters, and policies that come with being an Ultra-Conservative Christian politician.
  8. Humility.
  9. Compassionate, emphatic and owns a pair of blue jeans.
  10. Values and morals albeit Ultra-Conservative Christian values and morals.

Trump Texas

What we got.

  1. Old white guy.
  2. Politically affiliated with himself, Donald J. Trump.
  3. Religiously affiliated with himself, Donald J. Trump.
  4. Spends a lot of money on attorneys.
  5. Former television star.
  6. Former beauty pageant owner.
  7. All the baggage, characters, and Russians that come with being a shady real estate developer.
  8. Thin-skinned.
  9. Narcissistic, egocentric, insecure and thank God doesn’t own a pair of blue jeans.
  10. Values and morals that benefit one person and one person only, Donald J. Trump.

I don’t know about you but at this point I am willing to take my chances with President Pence even if it includes his spiritual adviser and de facto Vice President Franklin Graham, and most of you know how much I LOVE me some Franklin Graham.

    Facebook says tRump is going to donate $1M of his own money to victims of the hurricane. My response? This is ALL he can give as he has no sympathy gene in his narcissistic body. (Of course I got “scolded” for the “hate” in my soul. *sigh*)

    I agree with a switch because even though the evangelicals will flock to Pence not seeing the hypocrisy of their last favorite. While pence will push hard for policies I think will harm many including myself, tRump is not stopping that. At Least Pence will be held to tradition and standards that tRump seems to be able to evade. Pence will not be able to just ignore things and scream fake news at the truth like the current guy. Plus the die hard not willing to change their support no matter what tRump does people won’t support Pence the same way. Hugs

    Aha buckaroo! easy for you to say Pres Pence. Pence, the same man who, as governor, tried to get state funding for conversion therapy in Indiana? He who believes a gay man can be made straight by shock therapy, humiliation and …oh, what else….oh yes the power of God? I would have just one question for Pence. If homosexuality were the “normal, acceptable” social standard, could you and would you want to shift gears and try to be gay? I’ll stick with the idiot we now have. He’s all the things you have said about him, but deep down inside he’s just a big ole teddy bear needing love and attention.

    I never saw the movie. I was in a bit of a different situation. I was really only loosely in the closet at church boarding school, that was so I did not get kicked out. I went into the Navy where I found other gay guys. After a year I was given an honorable discharge and a lot of money and left the navy. I turned around and joined the Army. Reporting to my first Army post I found the sergeant who was to go to school with me and checking in at the same time wanted to date and be my boyfriend. Long story short by the time I got out of school and to Germany I was hardly in the closet and served my last two years in Berlin openly out with a boyfriend, and when we reported to the unit the 1st sergeant asked us if it was true we were a couple ( a nice admiral I had done a favor for got me and my boyfriend the transfer ) I said yes, he replied ” Ok it will take me a day , maybe two to move people around and get you a room together”. I agree with you. I am not pushy but never hid it in civilian life. Today I insist on the married rights I am entitled to. I have paid a price for being so out and open, and not backing down. I imagine you have also. Hugs

    Most say “Get Trump out, then we’ll worry about Pence.” I don’t want Pence, but he’s definitely LESS DISHONEST than Trump! Then again, so is EVERY SINGLE AMERICAN!

          I read your response and it appeared at first to be a spoof then I read your blog “Conservative Christian man. Endeavoring to accomplish true discipleship to Jesus Christ, relying on His righteousness and strength.” and then I see your picture, and damn you are one of those old white guys who thinks they are following the words, lessons and actions of your white Jesus. Won’t your butt hole pucker-up when you meet Jesus for the very first time, because you have no clue what Jesus stood for and he looks more like Barack Obama than Joel Osteen.

          “Righteousness and strength”, you might want to spend a minute or 100,000 exploring what Jesus was righteous and strong about. It wasn’t kicking poor people in the ass, building walls to keep people out or grabbing women by the pussy.

          Enjoy your short time on your side of the road. Keep drinking your covfefe (Kool-Aid), and when that African American Nurse or Muslim Doctor is trying to keep your sorry ass alive, look into their eyes, you’ll find Jesus then. Peace

            Actually I don’t care what He looks like, as long as I know Him and He knows me that’s all that matters. And wanting to limit immigration into a country people like you say is overpopulated anyway is a good thing. I’m not a racist but you seem overly preoccupied with it. I do what I’m able to help the poor, but allowing people to flood the country that can barely take care of lawful citizens is moronic to be kind. It’s only going to lead to higher taxes, and less service for everyone. How about you focus on the corrupt countries these people are coming from? No pucker here. You don’t know me, not even close.

            So keep your judgements to yourself, and worry about your own relationship to the creator, after all you are going to answer for your own, not anyone else’s.

            Our country is only overpopulated by narrow minded Christians and at some point somebody in your family flooded this country.

            If you can’t handle my judgement then you should have kept yours of me in your back pocket. Last time I checked, despite your man Trump’s efforts otherwise, I can write whatever the hell I want. Here is the thing, you don’t have to read it and you sure as hell don’t have to comment on it but I don’t mind if you do. I like getting push back, but I am going to push back as well.
