He’s kind of nuts

“Nobody pretends that he would be an ideal Sunday-school teacher, to be fair. I don’t think he is a person who is deeply acquainted with the Bible and he’s not known to set attendance records at church. But he’s very respectful of people of faith. And that’s really all people in the Christian community want. They don’t care whether or not the guy believes as they do.” – Mike Huckabee on why Evangelical Christians voted for and support Trump

You got to love this line; “But he’s very respectful of people of faith.” This “respectful” guy tweeted a doctored video Sunday of him driving a golf ball into the back of Hillary Clinton and making her fall. That, ladies and gentlemen, is the essences of respect “our” President has for people. Pretending to hit a woman, a mother, a grandmother with a golf ball and causing her to fall. Where is the humor in that? Where is the respect?

And as you can imagine the Deplorable Nation came to his defense. “Lighten-up”, they said “don’t take everything so seriously”, “he didn’t really hit Hillary Clinton with a golf ball”, “it’s just Hillary Clinton”, and “he is just having fun”. Having fun?

From what I have seen of her, Hillary Clinton actually has a sense of humor. She is confident and comfortable enough in her own skin to be the butt of a joke unlike “our” President. Like any bully he can only tolerate being on one-side. Pick on him and he lashes out and holds his breath until he turns blue or orange, depending on the season.

Like “our” President, another guy who doesn’t have a sense of humor is Kim Jong-un, the supreme leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and who Trump referred to as “Rocket Man” this weekend on Twitter; “I spoke with President Moon of South Korea last night. Asked him how Rocket Man is doing. Long gas lines forming in North Korea. Too bad!”

It is one thing to tweet a GIF of hitting Hillary Clinton in the back with a golf ball, it is a whole different story calling an already unstable individual, with his back up against the wall, with a nuclear arsenal just looking for an excuse to push the button “Rocket Man”. Basically what we have is two seven-year olds, in a sandbox playing chicken with our lives and the lives of the innocent citizens of South Korea, Japan and sadly North Korea as well.

“Opinion polls show South Koreans have one of the lowest rates of regard for Trump in the world and they don’t consider him to be a reasonable person. In fact, they worry he’s kind of nuts, but they still want the alliance.” – David Straub, former State Department official

This is a serious issue, hell it has been a serious issue for many years. But why has it seemed to escalate under Trump? Why do we appear to be on the cusp of nuclear war with the North Koreans under Trump? Because we have an infantile bully as President who reacts to anger with anger. A man who thinks making people look small, weak and insignificant by calling them names is “diplomacy“. Maybe that worked on the drywall sub-contractor he refused to pay but it won’t work on “Rocket Man”.

Kim Jong-un has already demonstrated that he is not intimidated by Trump and the UN sanctions are only hurting the citizens of North Korea. Kim Jong-un, his late father and grandfather have shown that the people of their country are expendable, casualties of war, casualties for the cause whatever that might be. China will continue to prop them up because they don’t want to see South Korea become bigger or more powerful and honestly we have no pull over China. Ban Chinese imports? Right. See how long the American economy can handle that.

We can only hope that there are enough smart people around our Dumb Ass-in-Chief to figure this mess out. Kim Jong-un is not going to give-up his nuclear weapons. As the NRA likes to say we will have to pry them from his cold, dead hands. We don’t want that. From Kim Jong-un’s perspective, the only thing keeping him in power and preventing the Americans from a regime change like we instigated with Saddam Hussein and Muammar Gaddafi is the threat of a nuclear war. Should we be concerned? Look at the mental pygmy we have tweeting and playing golf as President, yes we should be very concerned. But hey, the Evangelical Christians love the guy. Remember, he is “very respectful of people of faith.” Ever wonder what faith Huckabee is talking about? Apparently it is singular.

  1. I believe there is just one person who despises the POTUS more than I do, and that person writes E & B. The fact that the Evangelicals such as Huckabee continue to support HRA (his royal asshole) tells me just one thing. They have not read the same bible nor familiarized with the same Jesus as you and I. “….two different worlds, we live in two different worlds.” Gee, could there be a song here?

Geez! You should have been a baseball player. You continue to hit home run after home run. You could have made $$$$!!

On a more serious note, you really do have a knack for saying what so many of us feel but who are unable to express it so dynamically! 🙂

~ I agree. And that’s bad news for America and the world.
