How does she sleep at night?

Ron Ziegler was just 29 years old when he became the White House Press Secretary for President Richard Nixon. During the Watergate investigation and as senior White House  officials were resigning in mass, Ziegler became one of Nixon’s closest aides, confidants and defenders battling the press everyday on the behest of Nixon.

During  the impeachment process, Ziegler stood smugly before the media in the White House Briefing room insulting anyone who dared questions Nixon’s motives, honesty and mental state. He urged Nixon not to resign and fight the Senates efforts to convict and remove him from office to the bitter end.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders is the 35-year-old mother of three whose day job is to smugly  stand at the podium in the White House Briefing room and insult anyone who dares to question Donald Trump’s motives, honesty and mental state. She may be a lovely person and a wonderful mother, but as the White House Press Secretary she is an absolute bitch. Would you expect anything less from this administration than someone like her?

I used to watch former Press Secretary Sean Spicer’s briefings purely for entertainment purposes. He knew, as we all knew, that no one person could make sense of all the lies and bullshit that comes out of Donald Trump’s mouth and fingers though Spicer gave it the old college try. Sanders’ just lies to cover up her bosses lies, or ignores the questions thrown at her, or calls them stupid and the people who ask them stupid.

I wondered the other day, after I saw a clip of her making what my girls call her resting bitch face, how she sleeps at night? Trump is knee-deep in shit and the shit is rising fast. Everyday, some new Russian revelation comes out and everyday Sanders defends Trump. Everyday Trump tweets some new crazy shit, and everyday Sanders defends her boss.

Today’s tweet is a great example of an absolute Trump lie she stood at the podium and defended; Why did the Obama Administration start an investigation into the Trump Campaign (with zero proof of wrongdoing) long before the Election in November? Wanted to discredit so Crooked H would win. Unprecedented. Bigger than Watergate! Plus, Obama did NOTHING about Russian meddling. There is nothing truthful or factual in this tweet except for one point, the Russian collusion and obstruction of justice charges against Trump, his family and his minions will truly be bigger than Watergate.

Ron Ziegler had a successful business career following his time in the Nixon White House serving as the president of the National Association of Truck Stop Operators and later as the president and chief executive of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores. Sadly, he died at the young age of 63 of heart attack.

What will Sarah Huckabee Sanders do after what I hope will be another short run in the White House? Who knows. She has proven she can lie and maintain a resting bitch face with the best of them. She can also be very ugly and nasty to people. I hope she will take a break once this circus ends and take some time to cleanse her mind and her soul. It will be tough to get the stench and stink of Trump off of her and there will be a lot YouTube videos for her kids to watch when they get older. If I were her I would run now but power is an intoxicating drug.

“I think we would all have to say, and I would be, I think, remiss if I did not say, that mistakes were made during this period in terms of comments that were made, perhaps. I would say that I was overenthusiastic at the time in my comments about The Post, particularly if you look at it in the context of the developments that have taken place. In thinking of it at this point in time, yes, I would apologize to The Post. . . . When we’re wrong, we’re wrong.” – Ron Ziegler

  2. She is in the rare position of having sold out both her faith (by the unending lies she tells) and her country.

I knew a couple republicans when Obama was running for office. The nastiness of what I thought was nice people was astounding. I kept pointing out what they were saying was lies and made up fictions about Obama. They did not care. These upstanding members of the community told me that it did not matter the stuff they put out were lies. They admitted they did not care. Their view was that it was OK to do anything at all , no matter how crooked, how much it was a lie, even things they would fault others for doing, as long as their side won. As long as republicans won the elections it did not matter how low they had to go. I cut off contract with these people a long time ago. Now I see it seems to be a common theme. Win at all costs, doing wrong is great as long as my team wins. I am glad I don’t feel that way in life. Hugs

  5. Sarah Huckabee Sanders was a good choice. However, I think it would have been more interesting if Ann Coulter got the position of press secretary. Left wing media would probably fear her.
