Another letter to my Senators

Good afternoon.

I was thinking to myself, self, this country sure does have a messed-up guy running things right now up in Washington. Old boring Obama must be looking pretty good to some of those bible thumping Republicans. And for the rest of you Republicans, maybe Barack should have gotten himself some headlines about payoffs to Playboy Bunnies and Porn Stars. Think that would have helped him any? Sure doesn’t seem to be hurting Trump with the Fox News crowd. Heck, Hannity can’t even describe the weather as Stormy. Blustery, squally, windy, gusty, blowy (well maybe not blowy) anything but Stormy.

Every day some new revelation pops up in The Washington Post or The New York Times about what Captain Chaos has done in the past, the present, or in the last ten minutes. I was trying to refresh my memory on all the things he has accomplished in thirteen short months. Let’s see, screwed-up health care, screwed-up the environment for future generations, screwed-up the tax cut for the working and middle class, and made it okay for his sons to murder Elephants once again. In short, for thirteen months he has been an out of control screw-up. Simply flying by the seat of his pants. And what have you and your Republican brothers and sisters done about it? Nothing, nada, zip, zero.

Oh, and all “the best people” that he just can’t seem to keep or for that matter find. Here is a short list to ponder; Michael Flynn, Katie Walsh, K.T. McFarland, Michael Dubke, Sean Spicer, Michael Short, Tera Dahl, Mark Corallo, Reince Priebus, Anthony Scaramucci, Derek Harvey, George Sifakis, Ezra Cohen-Watnick, Carl Icahn, Steve Bannon, Sebastian Gorka, Rich Higgins, William Bradford, Keith Schiller, Tom Price, Jamie Johnson, John Feeley, Rick Dearborn, Jeremy Katz, Carl Higbie, Dina Powell, Omarosa Manigault Newman, Taylor Weyeneth, Rob Porter, David Sorensen, Brenda Fitzgerald, Rachel Brand, Hope Hicks, Josh Raffel, and Gary Cohn. But the one he just can’t seem to thankfully get out the door, Ms. Stormy Daniels.

When King Trumps reign is over and you are sitting on your deck down at the Isle of Palms looking out over the Atlantic Ocean, littered with plastic bottles, collecting your government pension check I wonder if you will have a trace of regret that maybe, just maybe you should have done more to reel Trump in and prevent him from wreaking havoc on our Democracy and our environment. I wonder if you will recall that you had a front row seat and you could have prevented him from setting this country back 100 years on how we should treat each other. I wonder.

At this point I would be happy with a small dose of “Conservative Values”. At least it would be better than the hateful, immoral, petty, and spiteful values “our” President is pedaling and you seem to be turning a blind away from. Front row seat.

I can not understand why the same people that were in constant outrage over every little thing, including wearing a tan suit of all things, are now forgiving / accepting everything tRump & crew do with out any problems. Seems so strange and surreal. Hugs

    • You know Scottie it seems strange to me too. Barack Obama has proven, without any doubt, that he is a man of high moral standards. A Godly man. A family man. A man who loves this country and ALL the people who make-up this country. A man with principals, a man of high moral principals.

You and I know the real reason and it has nothing to do with political party. Can you cure a racist? I guess if you cut out their heart.

Those guys sitting by the Atlantic Ocean? Based on environmental/climate change studies, they probably should be wearing swim suits.
