So after having tried to Deal, Deny, Deflect, and Discredit Stormy Daniels, Trump and his team have reached the final “D” in their bag of tricks, Destroy. For months White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee-Sanders has stood before the America people and lied. There really isn’t any other way to sum it up. Now, she can hide behind the fact that she was simply regurgitating the information she was given but truth remains she was complicit in helping Trump make this go away.
At one point Huckabee-Sanders stated that Trump didn’t even know “this woman”. The picture of Trump and Daniels together killed that lie. Then that Trump wasn’t a party to the $130,000 “hush” contract and lo and behold, the document appears and we all know how that ended, another lie snuffed-out. So where are we now? Trump is a party to a suit suing Stormy Daniels that contends and is threatening, that she owes HIM $20,000,000.
So as Trump spent the weekend attempting to discredit former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe and special counsel Robert Mueller who has he avoided getting into a twitter war with? Ms. Stormy Daniels.
There is widespread speculation about what exactly Ms. Stormy has on “our” President. If it is pictures of Trump lounging on the bed in his whitey tighties I hope they are released but I hope I don’t ever see them. Ms. Stormy and her attorney are playing Trump like a fiddle with each interview and with the slow release of tantalizing tidbit. And if you don’t think Trump is just a little worried about Ms. Stormy, look at the attorney he has added to his legal team, Charles Harder, best known for representing Hulk Hogan in his lawsuit against Gawker, which resulted in its bankruptcy.
I don’t know if there is anything illegal in Trump’s handling of Ms. Stormy, maybe very embarrassing but I am not sure it could or will take down his presidency. Here’s what I do know his base, the Evangelicals and the Deplorables, don’t care. They knew from the very beginning that they were supporting a morally bankrupt sub-human and still they voted for him. The Evangelicals know there is nothing “Christ like” about this man and still they defend him. Sadly, they simply don’t give a shit and that, for me, is the worst commentary of all.
I am not sure how Pastor Robert Jeffress can state, with a straight face that “Evangelicals know they’re not compromising their beliefs in order to support this great president.” I guess the First Baptist Church of Dallas knows a different Jesus Christ than I know.

I think the ones supporting tRump do not mind his lying, his goofing off instead of working, his making money off the country, his saying anything he wants with no consequence, the sleaziness, the disregard of basic human decency and kindness, all of it because they want to be him. They want to get to do what he does as they like it. I kept hearing they liked that he said what he wanted, and I realize they want to spout off and say hateful things without danger of losing their jobs, friends, spouse, family. They want to be cheered the way tRump is at his rallies when they say stupid bigoted stuff. So they see themselves in the reflection of tRump and they glory in it. Really horrible but it is the way I see them from their actions. Hugs

Absolutely boggles my mind, how all these christians (lowercase “c”) can know exactly what kind of person trump is, and still support him. It is a willful blindness the likes of which I’ve never seen before. And how can a pastor – a PASTOR! – possibly justify saying what this guy said?

‘thou shalt not have sex with a porn star.’ – now there’s a commandment I don’t remember reading, hmmmm. lol…I’m telling you, this has got to be the most surreal point in my lifetime. There are some days I read the headlines or hear the news and it’s as if I’m having an out of body experience – the rational part of me looks down and thinks, this can’t be happening / I didn’t just hear that / that person did not just tell an out right, obvious lie on international television / that person did not just justify (insert any number of violent, hateful, illegal, immoral acts here)… Please, wake me up for the midterm elections so I can be sure to vote, then again when this nightmare of a presidency is over. Thank you.
