“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field. I’ll meet you there. When the soul lies down in that grass the world is too full to talk about.” – Rumi
My youngest is coming into town Sunday for a week. I don’t get to see much of her since she lives 2,000 miles west of me. So I am going to take a break from posting for a few days and pay attention, mostly listen, to her. I’ll answer comments or questions as I have done before but I feel like I need to take a deep breath just to remind myself that the world is filled with big and little people and I have spent too much time dealing with the little and not enough with the big.
My children are the reason I exist. They are my sun and my moon, my grass and my stars. They are my past, my present and my future, our future. I attempt, everyday, to see the world through their eyes. To imagine what they perceive as good or bad, false or true. I know the day is ahead of me when my physical presences will no longer exist and my soul will be just a memory that shines through their eyes. I won’t be able to hug them, or say I love you but I will always be here, as a spirit that exist through them.
You will hear from me soon, but until you do, be still for a moment, take a deep breath and remember that despite how it seems some days the world is filled with more love than hate. I truly believe this and I hope you will too.
“People usually consider walking on water or in thin air a miracle. But I think the real miracle is not to walk either on water or in thin air, but to walk on earth. Every day we are engaged in a miracle which we don’t even recognize: a blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, the black, curious eyes of a child—our own two eyes. All is a miracle.” – Thich Nhat Hanh
Have a grand visit. We all have priorities and we must. It is proper and great yours are your family. Be well. Hugs

Your last quote by Thich Nhat Hanh is PERFECT!
Enjoy your time with one of your precious ones. My daughter and two of her daughters will be visiting me next weekend. Special times that we must put aside and relish with all we have within us.
