When your President calls a human being a dog

“When you give a crazed, crying lowlife a break, and give her a job at the White House, I guess it just didn’t work out. Good work by General Kelly for quickly firing that dog!” – Trump tweet 8-14-18 at 4:31 am

I really didn’t want to write about Donald J. Trump this morning. Honestly I had hoped he would just sit in his bedroom all day watching Fox News and tweet the “normal” psychobabble he typically does about “Crooked Hillary“, “Witch Hunt“, “Fake Dossier”, “17 Angry Democrats”, etc., etc., etc. which he has. But then he had to slide this little jewel in.

As I noted yesterday I am no fan of Omarosa. My distaste for her though does not equal my disdain for Trump. In my mind she is more on par with my dislike of the Kardashians, made for television stars who manipulate the media and the public to fill their bank accounts. Omarosa, like Trump and the Kardashians has created a brand. Who her “brand” appeals to I have no idea but apparently she has done very well for herself.

Despite not being a fan of hers the one thing I think we can all agree on is that she is apparently very smart. If you think about it, the only thing these “realty stars” have to sell is their image. They aren’t making some widget in China and selling it in Wal-Mart, they are selling themselves a finely, crafted, perception that maybe we like or maybe we loath. In the case of Omarosa, she positioned herself as the antagonist, the one that created waves and she did it very well and why wouldn’t she, she learned her skills from the master con man himself.

So no, I would not shed a tear if the term Omarosa, or Trump for that matter, had never entered the American vernacular. But it did, and here we are, two made for television stars in a war of words, one a “President” and the other his Apprentice” and all we can do is sit on the sidelines and think WTF.

I personally didn’t think the immoral cretin who is sitting in his bedroom at the White House at this moment, watching Fox News and tweeting up a storm could sink any lower. But I was wrong. Yesterday, Trump signed the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act without ever mentioning, thanking or acknowledging Senator John McCain who is dying from brain cancer. Yes, a shitty move but as we know he is a petty and shitty creature. And then this morning he calls Omarosa a “dog”. Seriously, a dog? This from a man who cheated on all of his wives, paid off countless other women to keep them quiet, and even bragged, on tape, about grabbing them by the pussy and Omarosa is the dog?

I know the Deplorables don’t give a crap about Trump calling Omarosa a dog. Remember, they voted for him because, as he likes to say, he hits back twice as hard. But where are the Evangelicals? Where are the Christians? What would their “Jesus” think of Trump calling a human being (note that I didn’t say another) a crazed, crying, lowlife, dog? Even if you take race out of the picture, which the Deplorables don’t, no one is a dog. I am sure what Trump wanted to say is “bitch”. Hell I bet he typed it out. But Omarosa, given the brand she has so carefully crafted would have taken that moniker as a badge of honor. Bitch? Hell yea, a bitch to his bastard.

This is where we are folks. It isn’t the end of the world but damn doesn’t it smell a little like it? I know you might feel like giving up but please don’t. I have said it before and I will say it again, in the end Donald John Trump and the rest of the Trump clan will be a pimple on the ass of American history. Yes, it is painful to sit on for a little while but this too shall pass. Keep writing your Senators. Keep writing your Congress people and most importantly, vote. This country is and will change. The Trump racist and Nazis will always be with us. We can’t ship all of them to Florida but we can disrupt them, we can call bullshit on them and we can neuter their mentally ill leader, his dysfunctional family and his followers with our vote and our voice.

  1. I don’t approve of what this broad did, either, but he continues to set new world records for classless behavior from a United States President. No one has ever been less deserving of that title, or done more to besmirch it. Ever.

  2. That brand of Christian is clueless as to what Jesus would think…..and don’t you dare wish any more of them on Florida. We are full, “no vacancy” sign is up.

Fairly certain that he wanted to use the word for female dog too. He actually showed restraint. Ugh.

You know, of course, he more than likely wanted to call her another name … staring with an “N”. At least that’s what several news commentators opined … and I tend to agree.

Again and again and again, I shake my head in complete bewilderment that THIS is the man elected to serve as our president. He’s MORE than a disgrace. And yet … and yet … there are those (as you said) that support everything he says and does and praise him to the rafters. Sick … sick … sick.

    • Ms. Nan, the 39% are concerned about one thing and one thing only, having someone in office that defends their “whiteness”. Hell soybean farmers are willing to go bankrupt just as long as their “whiteness” is protected and their place in the American society remains elevated. DJT is about as white as you can get. Hell my white “pedigree” is 99.9% and I don’t feel as white as DJT acts.
