The difference between John McCain and our current Dumbass-in-Chief

I don’t need to agree with someone to respect them. As a matter of fact I think the world is a better and stronger place when people have disagreements based on principles, ethics and morals. So you Deplorables may be wondering then why do I have such an issue with you and your Dumbass-in-Chief, principles, ethics and morals.

The stories of John McCain’s toughness, fairness, graciousness, and big-heartedness are legendary. He would be the first to tell you that he wasn’t perfect and that he had made mistakes (can you imagine Dumbass admitting to that?) but nothing showed who he was, what was inside his heart more than when some old ass pre-Deplorable white lady made ugly comments about Barack Obama. McCain was at a rally, running against Obama for President and rather than let the lady finish McCain took the microphone out of her hands and said Obama was a decent man, and a good family man.

Many believe McCain lost the Republican vote after that defense of Obama and he has been paying a political price for it ever since. What we didn’t know then is that old ass pre-Deplorable white lady was an indication of things to come, of sad things to come. But the end is near. The end is in sight.

If you haven’t heard, and I am sure you have, John McCain and his family have decided to suspend his treatment for brain cancer. When I heard that he had been diagnosed with Glioblastoma I knew, sadly, that it wasn’t if he would die but when. I noted in a post several months ago that over the course of the last six years I have known five people who have died from this disease. All five of these people, three of them close friends died within 18 months of being diagnosed. All of them had surgery to remove the tumor but within a matter of months the tumor returned bigger and meaner than before. Now I know a sixth person dealing with this horrible disease which unfortunately will kill him too.

As you can imagine the tributes have been pouring in today for Senator McCain, tributes from allies and critics. Tributes from Republicans and Democrats. But can you guess who has been silent? Which politician, supposedly the highest ranking authority in this country hasn’t uttered or tweeted a word about John McCain? Donald “I like people who weren’t captured” Trump, Mr. Piece of Shit himself.

This is what Joe Biden had to say about McCain and the Trump presidency after White House aide, Kelly Sadler joked about Senator McCain’s opposition to CIA nominee Gina Haspel in a staff meeting by saying “he’s dying anyway”: “People have wondered when decency would hit rock bottom with this administration. It happened yesterday. John McCain is a genuine hero — a man of valor whose sacrifices for his country are immeasurable. As he fights for his life, he deserves better — so much better. Given this White House’s trail of disrespect toward John and others, this staffer is not the exception to the rule; she is the epitome of it. Our children learn from our example. The lingering question is whose example will it be. I am certain it will be John’s.”

Did I agree with everything McCain stood for? Oh hell no but I will never forget the sacrifices he made for this country, spending five and a half years as a prisoner of war in North Vietnam with fractured arms and leg injuries which left him permanently incapable of raising his arms above his head. What was Dumbass doing 1973? Getting penicillin shots to clear up the clap he caught at Studio 54.

According to news sources George Bush and Barack Obama will deliver the eulogy for McCain at his funeral. Seems fitting given his status as a “reach across the aisle” statesman. Who will not be invited? Dumbass Donald. Honestly, Donald wouldn’t go even if he was invited because he is scared shitless of having to face Obama. That’s right Deplorable nation Big Bad Don would shit his pants if he had to face Obama. He is a big brave man hiding behind Twitter but what we will all discover soon, very soon is that Trump is a BIG FAT ORANGE PUSSY and will NEVER be a great American hero like Senator John McCain. A+ my ass.

  1. That rally when McCain took the mic from the lady lying about Obama cemented my respect for a great warrior and statesman. As you said, we don’t have to agree politically to recognize and venerate outstanding character.

  4. Few within that party, besides McCain, have shown any kind of courage. Actually… I can’t remember who… except those who will not run for reelection.
    Where does that leave us?

McCain is an honorable man and will always be remembered for that and the decent man he was.
Trump is a dishonorable man and will always be remembered for that and the corrupt crude bullying disgrace he was.
Trump is a loser in every sense of the word…every!
