Put us out of our misery…just die

In my home state of South Carolina only 40% of the residents are fully vaccinated for COVID-19. To make it easy for you MAGA retards that means that 60% of the state isn’t fully vaccinated. My state has a population of about 5,000,000 people. Again, to make it easy for you MAGA retards because, like Jethro Bodine, that 6th grade education can only take you so far, that means 3,000,000 South Carolinians have not been fully vaccinated.

Initially my gut reaction to those that refused to get vaccinated was great don’t get vaccinated, die. The planet and gene pool would appreciate losing a few flat earth believing, knuckle dragging, morons. I know I would. But then a friend of mine, a fully vaccinated healthcare worker got sick with COVID-19, the Delta variant, and it made me rethink my response.

Fortunately, because she has been vaccinated, her symptoms were similar to having a bad cold, but it has disrupted her life. Obviously, she can’t go to work and she must quarantine in her home. Because her husband has been exposed, he also can’t go to work and must quarantine.

I know she has been careful, wearing her mask in the hospital and wearing her mask when she ventured out to enclosed and crowded places like the grocery store. But even with all those precautions, one of the 3,000,000 people in our state got her sick.

She lives on the coast and we stopped by to say hello last summer when thousands of people were still dying everyday. We visited outside and at a distance as she told us horror stories of watching people die as she made her rounds. She recounted that what she saw was a slow death, alone in a room without families there to comfort them or say goodbye. Although she didn’t treat these patients it broke her heart.

I heard similar stories in my community from friends who had lost a family member or several members. Fortunately, no one in my immediate family “got the COVID” as the rednecks around here call it. We all took it very seriously from the beginning, wearing mask, handwashing and avoiding crowds. Each of my family members got vaccinated at the earliest opportunity with no reluctance or hesitation. You see we don’t get our news, or form our opinions from Facebook. We all believe in the science. We believe that Dr. Anthony Fauci knows what the hell he is talking about and that Donald J. Frump is a dumb fuck.

I was thinking about going to a baseball game tonight with my wife to see our minor league team play. The stadium is downtown, designed as a tribute to Fenway Park. The stadium has 6,700 seats and is close to a sell out tonight. 6,700 people, 60% of whom have not been vaccinated. People sitting beside me, behind me, waiting in line to get a hotdog and beer with me. As much as I would love to go it simply isn’t worth it. It isn’t worth rolling the dice and getting sick.

The states that are having the most serious COVID issues right now are, no big surprise, red states, the Frump states, South Carolina included. Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey, a big old fat Frumper who for the last year and a half has basically called COVID liberal bullshit now wants to get serious about it. Why? Because her MAGA voters are getting sick and dying at an alarming rate, her states economy is in the dumper, and she finally realized that her Facebook friends have been lying to her. No getting vaccinated won’t grow hair on the palms of your hands and Bill Gates won’t turn you into a socialist robot.

As Gov. Ivey noted, and even said this out loud, “Almost 100% of the new hospitalizations are with unvaccinated folks. And the deaths are certainly occurring with unvaccinated folks.” And to think, it only took her a year and half to come to this realization. This is the same moron that ended the state’s mask mandate back in April, favoring personal responsibility rather than a government mandate. Sadly, she didn’t take into account that the average IQ in Alabama is the same number of those fully vaccinated, just as a percentage, 33.

Am I okay for unvaccinated Americans, those that have chosen to take a stand against the vaccine, to die a slow, lonely death gasping for air…yes the sooner the better as far as I am concerned. Wipe them off the face of the earth. Improve the gene pool and raise the average IQ of America.

Simply stated, I have no sympathy for them. Is the vaccine perfect? Probably not but will it save lives, yes, despite what you read on Facebook or hear on Fox News. That point, the vaccines effectiveness, has been proven without fail every minute of every day.

I think now that it is not the level of education people achieve that makes them subject to the catcall ‘elitist.’ We become elitist in their eyes because we practice critical thought and make educated decisions.

I had a good laugh on two of my sisters-in-law when we learned everyone at Fox had long ago got the vaccination on the orders of the corporation. Yeah. That includes Hannity, Carlson, and all the other bobbleheads.

Resistance to vaccination is as old as vaccines themselves. There’s something superstitious, almost miraculous, about a poke in the arm leading to immunity from sickness. It’s almost as if we’re usurping some of the power of God.
