When Fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross

Today Christians stand at the head of this country. I pledge that I never will tie myself to parties who want to destroy Christianity. We want to fill our culture again with the Christian spirit. We want to burn out all the recent immoral developments in literature, in the theater, and in the press – in short, we want to burn out the poison of immorality which has entered into our whole life and culture as a result of liberal excess during the past few years.Adolf Hitler

We will not break, we will not yield, we will never give in, we will never give up, we will never, ever, ever back down. As long as we are confident and united, the tyrants we are fighting do not stand a chance. Because we are Americans and Americans kneel to God, and God alone. Ronald “MangoFrump

We need to be the party of nationalism and I’m a Christian, and I say it proudly, we should be Christian nationalists. When Republicans learn to represent most of the people that vote for them, then we will be the party that continues to grow without having to chase down certain identities or chase down certain segments of people. We just need to represent Americans and most Americans, no matter how they vote, really care about the same things and I want to see Republicans actually do their job. – GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia

The church is supposed to direct the government, the government is not supposed to direct the church. That is not how our founding fathers intended it. And I’m tired of this separation of church and state junk that’s not in the Constitution.GOP Rep. Lauren Boebert of Colorado

We believe in God and the tenants of the Christian religion, and that a Godless nation cannot prosper. The Principle of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan

We do not tolerate anyone in our ranks who offends the ideas of Christianity, who stands up to a dissident, fights him, or provokes himself as a hereditary enemy of Christianity. This movement of ours is actually Christian.Adolf Hitler

About ends and beginnings blog

I am a frustrated writer and poet waiting to be discovered. A stand-up philosopher performing on a street corner near you. A Christian with questions but I don’t want to hear your answers. A Buddhist with a bumper sticker on my truck to prove it. A collector of quotes. A grower of lettuce. The Patron Saint of earthworms who name their children after me. A cyclist whose big ass strains the seams of his Lycra bibs. I am American by birth, Southern by the grace of God. My goal in life is to leave an imprint on the lives of the people I love not a footprint on the earth. I am a son, a husband, a father composed of 65%-Oxygen, 18%-Carbon, 10%-Hydrogen, 3%-Nitrogen, 3%-Diet Coke and 1%-Oreo.

The youth, that has any brains today, need to make plans and get the hell out of here. I’m old and it’s too late for that, but not for them. Warnings are all around practically screaming..
It’s frightening and so many are totally oblivious.

    • I can’t endorse that idea. I am concerned that level headed young adults, like my kids, are deciding not to have children while the MAGA/Klan/White “Christian” trailer trash are reproducing with their 1st and 2nd cousins at a rate that would make rabbits blush. The only positive we can hope for is that meth, alcohol, and cigarettes will continue to shorten the lifespan of these POS. I don’t want to give the USA to Frumpers. They can have Florida (sorry Larry and Scotty) but that’s it.

  3. Terry Bahn says:

Wrapping yourself in the flag doesn’t make you a patriot. Many January 6th insurrectionists dd that … and, used flags on poles as weapons against the country.

Carrying a cross doesn’t make you a Christian. The Romans forced Jesus to do that on the way to his execution.

A patriot supports the country’s ideals of liberty and peace for everyone, everywhere; doing what she or he can to move all of us closer to those ideals. A Christian follows Jesus’ teachings of compassion and sharing; following his words and example of universal interdependence.
