Who is paying for Trumps Obama vendetta?

Donald Trump, for whatever reason has had a bone to pick with Barack Obama long before he threw his red baseball cap into the Presidential ring. For years Trump has questioned Obama’s birthplace, and his academic record. He has even cast doubt on whether Obama wrote his acclaimed books. But since Trump became President he has ratcheted up his hate for all things Barack Obama one pen stroke at a time.

Why does Trump hate Obama? My guess is it has everything to do with the culture of Donald Trump. It is about Barack’s skin color and his rags to riches story. A man like Barack Obama is an alien in the world of Donald Trump. Trump can deal with a Jewish man achieving success in life because at his core he is man first, white or at least kind of white second and Jewish last. Barack only checks one of those boxes for The Donald, he is a man and if you have ever noticed Trump spends an awful time questioning Obama’s manhood using words like weak, and soft to describe him.

You see The Donald isn’t used to being around powerful black men. Black men open the door for Trump, bring him cheeseburgers on silver trays, and caddie for him. Black men aren’t suppose to be President of the United States, neither are women or Jews for that matter. This is the world Donald Trump knows, the world he is comfortable operating in, a world controlled by rich old white men.

The New York Times published an Op-Ed piece by Charles M. Blow several months ago, Trump’s Obama Obsession. In his column Mr. Blow notes; “Trump wants to be Obama — held in high esteem. But, alas, Trump is Trump, and that is now and has always been trashy. Trump accrued financial wealth, but he never accrued cultural capital, at least not among the people from whom he most wanted it.

Therefore, Trump is constantly whining about not being sufficiently applauded, commended, thanked, liked. His emotional injury is measured in his mind against Obama. How could Obama have been so celebrated while he is so reviled?”

So who is paying for Trumps Obama vendetta? We are. We will pay for it with the air we breathe in the future. We will pay for it with environmental disasters like the 210,000 gallons of oil that leaked from the Keystone pipeline in South Dakota Thursday. We will pay for it with the destruction of the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) because as Sara Stovall, noted, who works in customer-support for a small software company, “It’s being sabotaged, and I feel like a pawn.”

What else is paying for Trumps Obama vendetta? How about African elephants. Trump lifted a Obama ban on importing sport-hunted trophies of elephants from Zimbabwe and Zambia, which are listed as an endangered species. Why? Google “donald trump jr big game hunter” and look at the images. Privileged, rich, white men love to kill animals, big animals, exotic animals. Not for sustenance but for trophy’s, heads on their walls, and rugs on their floors. I guess it makes a particular part of their anatomy appear larger than it really is.

Never forget that this “feud” between Donald Trump and Barack Obama is one-side. Like Hillary Clinton, Barack is also living in The Donald’s head rent free. Apparently there is an awful room under that dead squirrel Trump calls hair. I wish he would make room for the rest of us.

“Obama was a phenomenon. He was elegant and cerebral. He was devoid of personal scandal and drenched in personal erudition. He was a walking, talking rebuttal to white supremacy and the myths of black pathology and inferiority. He was the personification of the possible — a possible future in which legacy power and advantages are redistributed more broadly to all with the gift of talent and the discipline to excel.” – Charles M. Blow

I love this. It is well written and touches the truth of the subject. I hope everyone who reads this will add their voice to protect those who cannot protect themselves, the animals and the planet. Hugs

Here’s the real issue: Obama staged that recent attack on the bike path in NYC as a pretext to take all our Home Depot rental trucks — not to mention paintball guns — away from us. You don’t hear the Fake News media complaining about THAT, now, do you?

Sheesh! You continue to out-do yourself with every post you write about our leader. BTW, I think I figured out why he has such long flowing locks … he needs to hide that hole in his head where his brains leaked out.

  4. Wait – a how many gallon oil leak in South Dakota!!! Where was this in all the ‘fake’ news?! I’m sick of this man and his ilk (world wide), of the destruction, the hate, the violence…WTF?!! Humans! I mean…(insert primal scream of the utmost frustration I think I have ever felt in my life).

  5. Ok, I’ll be the first to broach the obvious penile envy issue. During his tenure in public “exposure”, Trump has made numerous references to male endowment…or lack thereof. Let’s call a “spade a spade” and recognize the historical white male mantra…..”size is everything”, envy is at the top of the 7 cardinal sins, and big feet indicate……large foot prints. C’mon folks get your minds out of the gutter. This is a respectable blogsite.

Another week of marvelous posts, dear Mr. Legend.
You always have a way to put my feet back on the ground. As much as I wished it wasn’t true, there are a few real nasty people among us. However, your post also give me hope. Being a blogger for many years now, I see an increase in new bloggers who are fighting for humanity, compassion, peace, etc. Each in their own unique ways. Again, hopeful.

Well….The Netherlands finally has a government again. Mrs. Merkel from Germany (where I currently live) is trying to form a government…so far all attempts didn’t work. If understood correct, she will have to choose between a minority-government or go for new elections.
The BREXIT (UK out of Europe) is still ongoing, and I think that was a bad decision in the first place. For the UK, for Europe.
Just to mention a few things 😉

        • I think Trump may have been the worst thing for us but the best thing to happen for Europe. From the outside looking in it appears the European allies are talking and working together without interference from Uncle Sam. The question I have is how cozy they (or some) will get with Russia. Merkel won’t, see hates Putin, as she should.

          Interesting times.

Yes, indeed. But personally, I wished the world wasn’t about ‘the USA’, ‘Europe’, ‘Asia’, ‘Russia’ etc.
There are a lot of people not pleased (to state it civil) with committees like the G8 or G20, the NATO, the NAVO… I don’t get that at all…we should work together, think together…
As long as people keep thinking, and acting with those thoughts in mind, “them against us”, “America (or whatever country) first”…How will we ever be able to get to world peace?
But then again…Merkel definitely doesn’t like Putin (who does?) but we have that creep from Turkey too…
Nowadays, it always seem to come down to choosing between bad and bad, instead of between right and wrong.
I refuse to give up hope for the sake of us all, but…pffffffffffff…it is getting harder…not like before year by year, but day by day.

          • I agree. My days are numbered and getting shorter all I want, all I ask for is the safety and happiness of my children today and tomorrow. Honestly, that isn’t an unreasonable request.
