Why is this important?

“Just leaving Florida. Big crowds of enthusiastic supporters lining the road that the FAKE NEWS media refuses to mention. Very dishonest!” – Donald J. Trump tweet 2-12-17

Why is this important? Did I really need to wake-up this morning with a headline worthy of The Beatles arrival to America for our President, Donald J. Trump?

“Trumpmania Sweeps the Florida Coast”

“Trump Fans Line the Street”

“300 Trump fans taken to the hospital”

“The Reception for Trump was Delirious”

“Bedlam as Mobs hold the Trump Motorcade at Bay”

Let’s think for a moment what should be on our President’s mind this morning; North Korea, yea now there is something to tweet about, or better yet, not tweet about. The launch of a ballistic missile with the possibility of arming it with a nuclear warhead and a mad mans finger on the button. And what made it even more exciting was having the Japanese Prime Minister here slumming at Mar-a-Lago. Think it was intentional? How about your National Security Advisor, Mike Flynn, lying about having conversations with the Russians. Oh wait, it’s the Russians, no biggie. Or how about the defeat in court of his “Travel Ban”, remember it’s not a “Travel Ban” no matter that your President keeps calling it a “Travel Ban”. Apparently not as well thought out or “vetted” as it should have been. But boy he made a spectacular show of it for the camera’s.

Four weeks in ladies and gentlemen, FOUR WEEKS and what has this cat done in four weeks? Created chaos in Washington and then headed to his sunny resort in Florida for the weekend. Mark my words, after his four years are up, we are going to discover that Trump’s “lifestyle” has cost us more than any other modern President.

I continue to be simply fascinated by what this guy finds important. Did he tour the devastation in New Orleans after the tornado’s, no. Why not? Would President Obama have done so? Most certainly. What is the difference between the two? One is self-absorbed, the other was altruistic. One is narcissistic, the other was selfless. The contrast between President Obama and President Trump is staggering. But what Trump wants us to believe, and what he is and has been selling is that President Obama was weak, weak on everything and Trump is not only brilliant but strong, and a fighter and he will fight for you and me! Maybe the reason Trump didn’t go to New Orleans is because he doesn’t look as good in a pair of jeans as Obama did.

Want to read the real headlines today;

“After three weeks, Trump has hit a Washington wall”

“Flynn on thin ice but still in at the White House after turbulent few days”

“Franken: GOP worried about Trump mental health”

“Questions surround Team Trump’s pre-election talks with Russia”

“Conflicts and distrust inside Trump White House”

“Donald Trump Is Selling Access to the ‘Winter White House’ for $200,000”

“Another day, another spelling error, this time on the $16.95 inaugural print”

Those are the headlines, that is the Fake News. Damn, I really wish they were fake.

We are bearing witness to the end of the United States as we knew it, as a pale reflection of what our parents remember, of what our forefathers fought and died for. I do not think we will have any “terrorist attack” here again. Not a real one anyways, what would be the point? Maybe a 21st century Reichstag to gin up support for martial law, perhaps. United we stand and divided we fall is still as true today as when it was first penned. So now we fall and I kinda think it will take far less than four years. Maybe four months before this course is irreversible. Have you seen the markets lately? Someone is getting ready to short our economy to it’s fullest. When it hits a certain point the sell-off begins. How high will it go? Not much higher. This hyped POTUS-mania is nothing more than a distraction. Where aren’t we looking?

I didn’t see that tweet until I read it here. Now I wish I hadn’t. This man is sick, sick, sick … and he’s making me feel the same way.

  3. Ok, just to back up a bit. Did Trump truly see the crowds he tweeted about? Perhaps they were crowds of protesters.

Confirmation bias says that he will only see or interpret that which reinforces his world view and deny to a fault that which threatens the ego.

On January 20 I said to my husband…this guy is not going to last for four years, four weeks is to soon, but I doubt if he will stay on for four months…Maybe it was wishful thinking, but I am keeping my fingers crossed anyway 😉

I believe you are correct. Especially in light of the Russian involvement since March of 2016 through January 2017. The GOP Townhalls that are erupting, for the majority, are not being riled-up by dis-gruntled democrats but by the GOP base et al. The kool-aid is wearing off and they are not liking one bit what they see. Many good people were conned by this populist, however we shouldn’t forget that they are our neighbors and in many cases family. I for one will take the higher ground. There will be no ‘I told you so.’ or gloating. Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us may hold the key into how we recover after this as a Nation, United as one once again.

It’s a lot simpler, and actually much much darker, than largely being discussed in the media. Trump behaves as a sociopath, not unlike a cult leader. That is the explanation for everything we are seeing. I’ve done some writing on this topic, and I hope have a chance to read it for an explanation on this topic. https://twoifbycharmwordpress.wordpress.com/ Thanks. B. Ashley

  7. Ok, This is also me. I commented as WayneSMT. My WordPress account is this one. I mentioned the market in an earlier comment on this thread and I awoke today with a crystal image in my head. Something I missed, not usually like me, but I missed it. It has to do with bitcoin and gold. Actually the ratio between the two. The greater the difference between gold and bitcoin the stronger the perception, when gold is say at 1200.00 and bitcoin is at 600.00 the strength of the fiat currency system is relatively strong. When the value of bitcoin equals the value of gold a fiat currency or federal reserve issued currency, in this case the dollar and a quantum block chain form of money,

  8. I commented on this thread as WayneSMT but since my first comment here I have created a WordPress account so to avoid confusion of who is this Imperium Sangre, it’s me.

I missed something. Something that had been staring me in the face for awhile, and I missed it. Whiffed at T-Ball and if you know T-Ball from your days in short-pants, to whif in T-Ball happen when you are 6, or blind, when you are 51 and whif it is embarrassing, unconscionable, and for considering myself a pretty good analyst, unthinkable. But I did whif and I need someone to let me know how bad I whiffed.

I mentioned the stock market earlier in one of my previous comments on this thread, how it was going up. And I think EAB (ends and beginnings) asked how high it could go, or something like that. Now this part gets kinda tricky. Ok, we have all seen bitcoin. Most of us know that it is a crypto-currency. Based on quantum theory and mathematical hocus-pocus and stuff like that. Nonetheless it has value because people perceive that it has value.

The dollar is a fiat based currency. Through a complicated shell game played between governments, unknown investors in treasury notes and the Federal Reserve who buys the treasury bonds and then puts currency into the hands of other bankers who get in to the people who buy stuff with it from others and those others deposit it in banks who then lend it out to other people who buy stuff and the whole thing just kinda rinse and repeats until more bonds are auctioned off to investors who take them to the Federal Reserve and the whole thing keeps going. Whew. Ok is everyone still with me on this?

When the value of the bitcoin equals and then exceeds the value of gold the fiat currency model dies since the dollar while no longer backed by gold is still intrinsically linked to gold. We see this in the DOW most notably. As the DOW goes up investors leave gold and move into the market as the DOW goes down they go back and safe harbor in gold. That is about to change. Here is the tricky part. Bitcoin is currently valued in dollars, which kinda means it is valued in gold. If Bitcoin exceeds gold then bitcoin can only be valued on it’s own perception and that is both wonderful and scary. Can’t value it in gold anymore, or any fiat currency for that matter. Bitcoin will become money and a currency at the same time. Valued only unto itself. And, that my friends, is what I missed. That when bitcoin exceeds gold, bitcoin then becomes the new gold and the world changes, central banking dies and tomorrow becomes the new day.

Now the question I have for you guys is am I seeing this correctly? My gut tells me I am on the right course of thinking on this, but my gut has been wrong before.

I tried to post this earlier on this thread but my phone died right in the middle of it. So if this is somewhat a repeat, albeit expanded, I apologize.

    • May be you said this and I missed it, but we don’t still back every dollar in circulation with the same equivalent amount of gold do we?

      Like

      • No we don’t. There is not enough gold to back the current level of circulation. I think there is more dollars out there then there is grains of sand on all the worlds beaches. So the dollar has not been backed by gold for quite awhile. But the dollar like other fiat currencies is still linked to it. Gold is at 1254.00 USD per ounce. Gold goes up, the dollar goes down and vice versa. Adding a third variable into the equation, the bitcoin, as both a currency and commodity wrapped into one. That is something we have never really seen before. It would be outside of the Fed’s realm. I just don’t know all the ramifications. I just know they are significant.
